| BERSI's International Program to El Salvador |

Join us as we explore El Salvador, the former capital of Central America and home to explorers, revolutionaries, and scholars. In June, 2006, we embark for a third BERSI International voyage to El Salvador, a country with much to teach us. In El Salvador, students immerse themselves in the history, literature, cuisine, service, geography, and culture of Latin America in its purest of forms--working and studying with scholars in the city and exploring the unique topography of one of America's oldest civilizations. Additionally, this trip gives students from New England a chance to broaden their horizons by witnessing a contemporary socio-economic and political crisis first hand and partaking in its solutions through the Christian frameworks of their own school, Catholic Memorial School. The group coordinates with International Partners in Mission, an organization founded in the 1980s and based in Cleveland, Ohio. IPM also organizes travel opportunities students from the College of the Holy Cross, Boston College, John Carroll University, and other high shools.
