YOU CAN HELP!  Two projects that BERSI would like to form a working partnership with are the Women in Community and the Lidia Coggiola School in Zaragoza.  We witnessed the women of the community program in Zaragoza cooking and distributing soy (which costs approximately $5 per 55 lb. bag) to malnourished children, providing women with alternative employment and support, and working with local politicians to make their town's standard of living better.

At the local school, we saw an amazing progress and hope in the poorest neighborhoods toward teaching students to become active, questioning members of their society from the tender age of four.  Donations for this school would go toward scholarships for students (whose tuition costs approximately $120 a year) and salaries for teachers (approximately $200 a month).

You can donate through International Partners in Mission by writing "BERSI" and the names of these projects (#308 or "Coggiola School") in the memo portion of a check.

Thank you!
