BERSI: Washington, D.C.

August 7-12, 2006

The Brother Edmund Rice Summer Institute, the founding program in the Brother Edmund Rice Solidarity Initiative, headed this summer to our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.  View pictures of the trip by clicking here.

This summer, we invited students to apply for one of twenty-eight spots on our fourth summer BERSI experience in Washington, D.C.  As the schedule indicates, this program was not for the faint of heart.  We were looking for students who wished to challenge themselves and discover in themselves their full academic, artistic, and spiritual potential.

Like all BERSI voyages, this one was an outstanding way to get to know a world-class city.  Below is the schedule the institute followed.
